How we decide
A replacement has to earn its place.
Compare your software bill, the work each tool handles, available data exports, and the ongoing cost of maintaining a system. If an included feature works, avoid paying to recreate it.
Use the ownership and migration checklist. Before changing systems, verify what is included, what remains with the current vendor, how data moves, and what you can take with you if you leave.
