Methodology & data

How the numbers are made

Published vendor prices are copied from dated source pages. Typical business bills are labeled as examples.

The rules

What we publish

Research is published by Don. Vendor comparisons distinguish linked product descriptions from our assessment of workflow fit. Source checks are not hands-on product tests, and the guides are not paid recommendations.

142 kinds of business have owner-facing research and either a priced website line with at least three vendors and a company count, or at least eight vendor profiles from the deeper research. That is a minimum research gate, not a claim that every published page has the same editorial depth.

How to read the evidence

Source coverage varies. The broader directory pages provide researched prices and vendor terms; they do not all have an authored buying brief or implementation evidence. New workflow research does not refresh the dates of older price records.

Guides with a buying checklist

These 107 guides include an authored comparison, a proposed demo scenario, migration questions and a downloadable checklist. They are not customer implementation case studies.

The dataset

Download the plan-level data for all 1150 vendor profiles, including published monthly prices, website price points, quote-only labels and source dates. A website price point is not necessarily an additional fee. Add-on and contract details are on each vendor page. The CSV is free to use under CC BY 4.0; credit "I Want My Website Now" with a link.
